These shorts are really lovely. Initially I bought size S (I am normally 8-10) and found them quite snug, so then bought size M but these were far too loose at the waist as you can’t tighten the drawstring, which seems to be just decorative. In the meantime I found the size S loosened up a little as I wore them and are, in fact, the perfect fit after all. So I’ve now bought some more in that size and returned the Ms.
