Good price, but some niggles
The biggest problem was that some colours, particularly blues and greens had very few colourscompared to others. There were two different makes of thread, and with some the papers were stuck to the threads. Under the paper was the biggest problem - I appreciate the difficulty arising from the slippery rayo, compared to skeins of cotton, but the tight, knotted thread hol.ding the rayon was just immovable without cutting it,and even with great care it was impossible to do this without cutting the threads.In one case I finished up with eight pieces . Although the threads are said to be colour fast, I would use them for practise rather than for finished work. BROKEN KNOTTED and GLUED TOGETHER
My set has some great colors which is what I wanted but there are several things wrong with this item. I had over 40 skeins that were so broken, that I could not use them. I had over 20 skeins that the glue from the wrapping paper was all over the threads, so bad that I could not even get the skeins open. Several other skins were so knotted that as it looks like they were thrown in a blender before being mailed out.My set has some great colors which is what I wanted but there are several things wrong with this item. It said 150 different colours, but there were 2 skeis of each colour, so 75 colours in total. Its not a real silk, so for that price the quality is ok.
