There was some turned down edge, which I masked, but even before masking the mirror was able to show good views of Jupiter's cloud belts when used in a telescope. If you're looking for a mirror for a small reflector, I'd recommend this one.

No tint to it. However, assuming it has some sort of coating, it's just as described.
