The series leads are Rachel Bradley (Helen Baxendale, who briefly played Ross Geller's British wife in the American television situation comedy FRIENDS), her eventual husband Adam Williams (James Nesbitt), David and Karen Marsden (Robert Bathurst and Hermione Norris), and Pete and Jenny Gifford (John Thompson and Fay Ripley). Rachel and Adam meet by crashing their cars in a parking lot, then marry and go through countless misadventures leavened by witty scripts and a superb supporting cast.
