You get what you pay for and the phone is not different than any lower spec android phone. The graphics are not overly saturated or pixilated, the sound quality could be better in terms of volume but it offers better sound production than most flagship phones. I plugged the phone into my car audio when I am driving and the sound is amazing, you can hear the various layers compiled and especially the bass (I mean its Sony). Though they are some features you won't find user friendly for an android based phones like setting up your notifications, quick access to certain apps, it acts unresponsive sometimes, it does get uncomfortable hot if you are on youtube for sustained length of time and if you are tying to connect to wifi the first time on any network, remember to select WPS when ... No ring tone
I purchased this phone four months ago, (it arrived on the 12/04/2016) but I can only make calls in speakerphone mode as the phone refuses to issue a ring tone if I don't!! I purchased a Sony Xperia after having a Sony xperia some time ago and it was the best phone I ever had. This is absolutely rubbish and I would not recommend the phone to anyone! After typing in 'No ringtone on Xperia Aqua' to google I found out too late, that it is happening quite often. Now I have to go through the process of trying to get it fixed! Better than expcted, great secondhand value
On the whole this is excellent. I was wary of a thin phone because I generally like heft and something to get hold of. But I've quickly got used to it and find it handles very well. It's also robust, and despite a lot of hard use in pockets with keys and being dropped several times shows little signs of wear apart from the rear glass getting scuffed. I see some people complaining about only 8gb RAM, but for me it's not a problem. Send photos to SD card and there's plenty of room for apps. If you need more apps than 8gb can provide then you're an app nut and need to get a life, lol Good points: Nicely designed, well built Waterproof (yes it is!) Excellent battery life Good call quality Good cameras Dedicated shutter button for camera on phone body - a godsend GPS is good Internal compass ... On the whole this is excellent. Perfectly adequate, but there are quicker ones. Rear glass is fancy but scuffs up eventually...making it not so fancy! But you can still see your face in it for selfies! The stock photo gallery is slow The puzzling points: Twice in a year the phone has just gone dead, like completely dead. Nothing seems to wake it, putting it on charge has no effect, it doesn't even register that it's charging. Left for 12 hours it suddenly starts working again as though nothing has happened - same great battery performance, so I don't think it's a battery issue. Weird. Can't fault the phone until it has one of these moods and goes AWOL! But even that hasn't made me run for another brand. I got a Motorola MotoG as a backup but didn't like it nearly as much as the Sony, so I live with its moods! Mine's black which is a bit dull, but you can get them in white, coral (red) and silver. Might go for a red one next time. All in all, I like it.

Phone is make in good quality materials, looks ok and all standard users will be happy to have it. Standard means calls, sms, internet, Facebook etc. Battery is ok - quick charge long working - 2 days. I'm tested - yes its waterproof. Problems starting after while of using. Only 8gb of drive is a joke!! Yes you can add your sd card but that's doesn't mater because most apps is in hard drive and you can't move them to sd. After a couple updates problem with full hard drive will come out and finally you can't update apps. Sony M4 Aqua is definitely NOT FOR ACTIVE PEOPLE!!! GPS in this phone NOT working at all!! I'm very Disappointed of that!! I try all options settings, special apps to fix gps - It's not helping - its hard to find gps signal and even if you catch it, it's gone when you ... ABSOLUTE BARGAIN.
I personally think this device is one of the best I've used. The condition of the device should have been GRADE A there's literally tiny marks not noticeable at all. Looks brand new. Performance is there still also, battery life a lot better than the iPhone I'd previously had doesn't die after 4 hours usage. Thanks for the bargain!
