The cross-sectional size of this tong clip is 1/8x3/8-inch, which would give it a tensile strength of 3046 pounds, figured conservatively. Not sure what kind of grip strength you have to generate more than a ton and a half of pressure on your tong clips, but kudos for your arm day routine!
