      Needed this to complete an upgrade to hydraulic brakes

      It was time to replace the brake pads on my and my wife's bike and I decided to upgrade to hydraulic disk brakes. Unfortunately my bike only has cable guides for cable driven brakes and I had to temporarily zip tie my brake line to the frame. This is a great economical solution that holds up well to a lot of abusive riding. It uses the standard size clips too so easy to maintain if you break a clip or two. Highly recommend for running cables or hoses on bikes that weren't originally made to.

      Jagwire stick on cable guides

      The product looks to be of good quality but the clips do not have a positive connection and one has rattled off in less than ten miles of biking also on of the mounting brackets lost adhesion when I washed the bike five days after I stuck it on. temperatures have been averaging in the 70's so the adhesive should have cured. I do not have much faith for long term use.

      Doesn't stick as well as you'd hope

      Doesn't stick well unless shape of the tube exactly matches the guide's curvature. For example, one on the underside of the top tube (slightly less curvature) fell off within a few hours, and a couple on the underside of the seatstays (slightly more curvature) fell off as well.

      Almost perfect.

      I bought two sets so I could add a derailleur to my DJ bike build. My frame only has guides for a brake, so these are the perfect solution. I don’t like that they don’t accommodate wire ties though. Otherwise, they are a great solution.
