    Great Hard Disc

    I have one piece of software (MS Money) on an old machine running under Windows 98SE. Microsoft has never updated the software to run on Windows 7 or even Windows XP and my original source disc became corrupted many years ago. The hard disc boot sector on my old machine became corrupted so I needed another hard disc that would work with my old hardware and Windows 98SE. This disc filled the bill brilliantly. I installed Windows 98SE, copied a partition from the old disc which contained both an OS and the old software and I am up and running again.

    Faster Transfer rates but its a Heater

    Hi i brought it in 2002 3Q, i waz a Fastest hard drive available for Desktops, its Top of the Notch Performance, it was Costly but delivers higher transfer rates, that time there was no external hard disks or Pen drives we friends were using internal hard disk as data traveler, we used to remove it from system and attached it to anthers as a Slave... to transfer data Especially Movies Games, Whenever i connects my hard-drive it transfers files Quickly compare to others. :) it was a Gr8 fun. Pros & Cons Pros: * Fast performance (7200 RPM, ATA/100) * Advanced 3D Defense system for increased reliability * Affordable price * Good for IDE RAID Cons: * Gets really hot (could be a problem for a poorly ventilated case) Conclusion: Seagate definitely has a winner on their hands here.     Hard Drive for my computer.

    I decided to buy the hard drive for my computer as I did not have enough space on my current hard drive for all my programmes. It was easy to put in once I receive this from the seller.
