Good summary and introduction to "guard dogs"
I bought this book after having purchased Semencic's first book. This book is better as it includes more dogs and more photos. Like many T.F.H. books this one has a lot of nice color photos. Not sure why the title is "Pit Bulls and..." becuase it only has one section on pitbulls. I have not read the author's other book Gladiator Dogs but hope to pick it up. Overall, I think this book is worth having in your library as it contains alot of information and photos of breeds which are not readily found in other dog books.I bought this book after having purchased Semencic's first book.
