Historians as well as the novice may spend hours slowly digesting this volume’s rich content. I do recommend this book to anyone desiring to better understand the man that is Abraham Lincoln.

    Have bought three copies of this book, and find it the best on Abe Lincoln!

    This book is truly wonderful, being filled with fantastic photos of all aspects of President Lincoln's life. There is also enough writing to tell the story of his life, but the awesome photos are the main focus of this book. Some of the photos are seldom seen in other books. Any person who considers Mr. Lincoln to be our greatest president, will truly enjoy this book. It is unique, fantastic, and super in the presentation of Mr. Lincoln.

    My Favorite Book of all Time!

    This is my favorite book of all time! I am a huge Abe Lincoln fan and find this the best of any book I have read on his life. Every page is jam packed with photos and information from people of all walks of life. Though I have read it before, my teenage daughter is currently reading the book to me during quiet afternoons as part of her schoolwork. What better way for both of us to experience history! This book is a must read for any Lincoln or civil war buff!

    Like Lincoln? Then You'll Love This Book.

    This book is apparently out of print and I bought it at the encouragement of a friend who had to borrow a third party copy to share with me. Finding the book on eBay was a joy for both of us. My copy looks as if it's been read only a few times and is in excellent condition. Primarily a picture book for your coffee table, the text is expansive enough even for the most die hard Lincoln fan... but isn't that all of us?
