Perfect replacement
This is a straight replacement for the original, same size and layout with exactly the same buttons. Originally bought another product, but it was poor quality and did not have the schedule button. Generic remote controls don't have the media button. This has both, and everything works. Not quite the quality of the original, but you can't get the original any more as Humax have obsoleted it. Not genuine.
Not sure why I thought this was a genuine Humax remote. It's not. The picture in the ad has a Humax logo on it so I guess I was easilly fooled. There are plenty others for sale of same quality but half the price. This is not programmable and is not able to control other devices like the original.

It works well, BUT...
It works well but, it now has an AUTO REPEAT for all the buttons... this was a pain to start with as you don't expect it. Once you get used to it it's not too bad, you just have to be very quick on each press. otherwise you do things you didn't intend.

Better than the original one!
This was a straight replacement for my original remote, which had always been fiddly (you needed to press the keys very hard) and then just stopped working. The new one is so much easier to use. I suppose that, as a branded Humax replacement, it should be good - but it is!

A good replacement
It takes a bit of getting used to. The buttons are in different positions, so you may need to familiarise a bit so that you can hit the pause button without having to keep searching. Not a direct replacement for the original as it lacks the universal feature, but for controlling the Humax I find it far better than the original.
