COLLECTION OF ORDERS:
 
If you wish to collect an item please contact us to arrange this. Please choose free delivery, and send us a note to say you'd like to collect. This can be done in the section that says send message to seller, before you confirm payment. Please note, we need 24 hours notice for this, to allow for the item to be reserved and put to one side for you. This will avoid any disappointment.
 
RETURNS:
 
We are happy to conform with the Distance Selling Regulations which are designed to protect you when buying items via the internet. We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for refund or exchange if you have ordered the wrong items, they don't fit or the items are damaged or faulty upon receipt.
 
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your order you must notify us within 7 days of delivery detailing the reason for your dissatisfaction. In the event that an item is to be returned, it must be unused, with the original packing and in the condition in which it was delivered to you, unless faulty.
 
Unless there is a manufacturing fault, or the goods were damaged in transit, goods will be returned at your own cost and refunds are made up to the cost of the goods excluding Postage and Packing. Model World UK strongly recommends the use of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (signed for) for goods returned, and cannot be held liable for any losses in the postal service.
 
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR BROKEN GOODS:
 
All items purchased from Model World UK Ltd are covered by a full manufactures warranty, the duration of which is 1 year. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects but does not cover damages caused by crashing, abuse or general wear and tear etc. If you feel that the product purchased from Model World UK has developed a fault then please contact us before returning the goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. If the goods need to be returned - Goods must be clean and reasonable state for our engineer to inspect.
 
Goods must be accompanied with a Completed Returns Form which we can supply on request.
 
Please be honest when dealing with us, we will try our best to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer! Unfortunately postage costs cannot be covered unless at our discretion there is a manufacturing fault.
 
NEW ITEMS RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE OR REFUND:
 
Please contact us before making a return as we may be able to offer advice or help that might avoid you having to return the goods (especially relating to parts not fitting etc)
 
For a full refund goods must be returned within 7 days of delivery. For goods received after this time there may be a administration charge as follows.
 
Returned goods received by Model World UK between 9 and 15 days after initial delivery to you will be liable to a 10% surcharge.
 
Returned goods received by Model World UK between 16 and 29 days after initial delivery to you will be liable to a 50% surcharge.
 
Items received after 30 days will not be refunded unless the item has a manufacturing fault.

Believe it or not we do make the occasional mistake! If we have sent a incorrect part to you which is different to what is listed on your invoices we will be happy to make a exchange and pay your first class postage for returning the item.

    Oh the memories...

    Beautiful little reminder of a full sized Bicycle I once own in the 70's. Though the one I had was Racing Green, the one I wanted was Orange, which is why I bought this version. This is a great scale model in metal (frame), chrome and plastic. The wheels rotate, the rear with the help of the pedals, and the front wheel is connected to the handle bars, which turns. It sits upright by the aid of the stand, which I haven't tried to move in case it breaks! The only thing missing is the "Raleigh" name on the back of the saddle. Really pleased with my purchase! Oh I do wish I'd kept my old bike, but it went in the skip when we move house...

    Great reminder of happy childhood times

    Very happy with bike. As it's a collectors model and not a toy I wouldn't say it was durable (one of the ratings asked for) but it is a lovely reminder of childhood days and I am sure will trigger many happy carefree times. Great little gift for an adult who once owned a Chopper.

    Where’s Raleigh?

    Great little model, which brought back some fond - long ago memories of childhood bike rides. Was a little disappointed however having presumed from the title that this was an authorised piece of Raleigh merchandise? Not so. No mention of Raleigh on either the packaging or on the bike itself. Rather misleading to put it in the title me thinks!!
