Works well and is highly visible to cars at night!
Pros: very puncture resistant and tight fit. Cons: heavier tire and hard to mount (use the warm sunlight to help expand them before placing on the rim–also get the opposite wire bead into the trough of the rim to help the other size pop onto the rim). This is the type of tire that's a set it and forget it–other than maintaining a proper tire pressure. I've trusted this brand make and model of tire for years. Great for urban street riding where there's glass and sharp objects rolled over on every ride. Works okay on a classic Westwood style or lipless / hookless rim at the lower tire pressure of 55 psi or 4 bar.Pros: very puncture resistant and tight fit. Seller delivered as promised, not so sure about the tires themselves
I have bought and mounted half a dozen Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires in the past couple of years as I really like how tough and puncture proof they are. This was the first time I mounted this tire size (700 by 35). I have mounted literally hundreds of bike tires in my lifetime, and I like to think that I am quite good at it -I can fix a regular flat in less than 5 minutes. I never had much of an issue mounting other Shwalbe's, but this particular pair proved a huge challenge. The tire circumference appeared to be about 1/4" too large, and I couldn't get the tire wall to stay on the rim; it kept on popping out once I got pumping over 40 PSI. When completely deflated, I could get the tire out of the rim just by shaking the wheel hard. After trying to get the first tire to stay onto the ... Then I started working on the front wheel, and I heard a deafening bang: The rear wheel's tire wall had just come out of the rim and the tube blew up. I didn't have a chance to try on different rims because this were the only two I had on hand, but the old tires I took out fitted just fine, so I assume that it is an issue with the tires themselves, not the rims. Since I had no other choice, I kept on trying to mount both tires on both wheels, and after over 30 minutes of trials adjusting the tire on the rims very carefully as I was pumping it up, I managed to get them to stay into place without popping out of the rim. I just looked online, and there are reports of other experienced bikers who have had the same issue. I have ridden that bike for some 50 miles since then and the tires have stayed in place, but it doesn't feel particularly safe knowing that one of these tires risk popping out of the rim at anytime.

My favorite tire
This particular tire offers excellent durability, pretty good puncture resistance, and decent traction for all around riding. I always buy this tire when it's available.

Best touring/hybrid tire
These tires are super smooth in ride and very quiet running. they run pretty true and are very puncture proof. Sand burr thorns won't penetrate the tread or sidewall. I have several of these and they also have a long wear life. Mine are 700 x 35C.
