The item was as described, but it arrived wet through in a plastic Royal Mail bag. The label on the bag said it had been damaged before arrival in the UK, but as the supplier is from Cornwall, this was hard to believe! I contacted PZPalmtree and sent him photos of the item and its packaging and he promptly refunded me. First Class response despite it not being his fault. I've found the liner sheets locally, but if this source dries up, I won't hesitate to reorder from Cornwall.

    A kitchen must have if you have weak hands

    A must have aid for anyone who like me has arthritis or problems opening bottles or jars. I was sceptical when l ordered it, I've tried other aids which didn't work. This one does and l couldn't be more delighted. Easy to handle and doesn't need strength to use. Can open multi size jars/bottles. Well made. Recommended

    Mixed Feelings

    I have mixed thoughts on this jar opener. I think you still need a strong grip for larger jars and the teeth do not grip that well. I have found however that it works well for smaller tops. I think rubberised ones are best but don’t think this a total waste of money. Only yes and no questions above, didn’t want to be harsh about the quality and would I recommend so answered yes but I think for the price I would say give it a go if you don’t want to pay a lot but need assistance.

    Buy several to keep in your house and caravan

    Will open small pop bottle caps to pickle jar lids with ease. Only criticism is that they are of rather thin guage steel and may not last a lifetime. Shucks, if I live another 5 years I will love to buy another set!

    gob smacked

    i bought this item as I am disabled and I also have poor mobility in my hands and I was completely gob smacked and lost for words they opened all my bottles and jars with complete ease and you don't even know that you have taken the top off unless you are looking I don't know what else to say apart from that they are a great buy.

    No good for arthritic hands

    No good at all if you have arthritic hands as you have ti be able to brace the jar with one hand while turning gadget with other. Now have bought a Jarkey which breaks vacuum and dies work!
