YES That is Correct the keyring is plastic as clearly stated on the listing. However the definition of acrylic is a transparent Plastic material with outstanding strength, stiffness and optical clarity which the keyring has so i can see why you may subjectively think that way. i recommend going by the item description when purchasing to avoid dissapontment and the listing says as you have confirmed that it is plastic. Thankyou anyway.
