I ordered 4 of these. They all work as expected. The terminal blocks are of poor quality, but it didn't have any problem buck/boosting... IIRC, I tested 12V input over the full range... 5-32V output? If you're looking at the module with LCD, don't pi$$ away your money. V is close but I reads about 20-25% low so W is garbage and you'll need a VMM to set the V and I anyway. BTW, I made sure to set I on all my modules to 1A so I don't blow them by accident.
