These are a flat belt vs. a true "V"-Belt, but Jet had them on back order & did not have a choice! We are a Jet distributor and we had to supply the customer something to keep the drill press running, but would not suggest these belts. They will work, but not for long, probably 1/2 the thickness of the original v-belt!

I think you bought the wrong belts. These are for the new style 17" press, not the 17-900 press. Ron

My add is 100% accurate. The picture is correct. It is for a JET part. He has a Steel City planer. They are not compatible. He ordered this gear because he thought they were the same. His gear spirals the opposite direction.
