A1 smooth transaction, let's not talk about rolled gold Cross pens, just to say the Gorilla glue will be deployed to get them twisting and staying in place talk about odd construction and operation inside, not the refills fault though it was blamed at first until I took the second pen apart, slightly different but same layout and failure point, the screw in ring on both which will be gently glued . Refill smooth and works.
