    The best thing ever invented for mending shoes.

    The best thing ever invented for mending shoes. Use it to rebuild worn soles and heels as well as gluing together open seams. Can extend the life of shoes by years. You do need to get surfaces spotlessly clean and roughened, preferably with a wire brush, especially as shoes obviously can get rather dirty. It is not a contact adhesive, so to glue seams it is necessary to hold the sides together for a few hours - stuff the inside of the shoe with screwed up newspaper and tape the outside tightly together with gaffer tape. Works better around 20-25 degC, so best to mend your shoes when and where it is warm.
