Works great for taking static out of radio. Five Stars
The unit is very well built with a heavy duty power cord and plug - nice that the plug is a right-angle plug so it fits snuggly against the wall outlet. The unit came with its own mounting bracket - though I did not use the hardware included - wanted to be sure it never came loose from the wall so used screws that were a little more substantial. The mount bracket slots are spaced nicely and accepted the heavier screw, (my choice) also included is a template to mark the location of the screw holes and a sketch of the unit to show the dimensions of the filter prior to mounting as to not contact the TV mount. Having the LED lights on the end plate of the filter is a great location making them easy to read with a glace behind the TV. All in all - very satisfied with the packaging, construction ... Simple installation for product that simply works.
Bought this device to protect a wired modem/gateway/switch. Appears to be working well. Won't know until the power starts surging again. That usually coincides with a drop in modem performance and loss of signal. It may be a while before I can confirm that this device is doing what it's supposed be doing. For now it's added peace of mind.

A great noise filter
I repair tube type radios,and have looked for a good noise filter over the years and this is the first one that really works!All the money I wasted on ones that disn't work,what a waste! I dont know what kind of surge protector it is but if you have a noise problem this will help,It may not get rid of it all but it gets my vote.
