Simple and sturdy
I'm quite impressed with the simplicity of this grease gun.. This is my first cartridge grease gun and it couldn't be simpler to load and operate. The mechanical parts are well manufactured and smooth in operation. The head grips the grease points with a firm, positive action and usage is effortless.

Good value grease gun but can have some issues in use
Great value grease gun, but takes some understanding to get the best out of it. Cartridge filling is straightforward and not messy like bulk filling can be, but once in use it can leak via joints when pressurising grease through a nipple. A bit of PTFE tape round the various connector joints at each end of the hose or rigid pipe can solve leaks, but it's best to leave the handle open when storing, otherwise grease leaks under pressure via the relief valve at the top of the gun. The zerk connector that attaches to a grease nipple can be tightened by hand to form a good connection when in use, and loosened to aid release. Overall a well made budget grease gun, and I would have given it more stars if instructions for use were clearer.Great value grease gun, but takes some understanding to get the best out of it. Nice cheap Grease Gun
Not the cheapest but not the most expensive grease gun. I only need it to grease my motorbikes a couple of times a year (if that) so why pay a fortune for an expensive gun? I used a grease cartridge which fitted and worked straight away. Just remember to back off the knurled locking end of the grease hose/pipe alittle so you get it on & off the grease nipple easier.

I've purchased several cheap grease guns over the last few years and been very disappointed with them, until now. Previous guns either leaked outside the nipple to the point where you didn't know if any grease went in, or on the other extreme once the gun was connected to the nipple it wouldn't come of again. With careful adjustment I could end up with guns both leaking and staying stuck on.
