Works perfectly with VW Passat estate
My husband recently bought a second-hand VW Passat estate, but the car came with a non-original audio lead, which kept cutting out the connection between the USB memory stick and the audio system. I bought this genuine replacement lead for him and it works perfectly. He is delighted!

AMI TO USB DOESNT WORK
I purchased this cable hoping it would allow me to connect a USB and play music from it. But once connected, audi MMI doesn't recognise anything I insert in the USB slot. I've tried 4 different USB STICKs none work with this cable. However it does work as a charger if I connect my phone charge cable to it.

This charges fine but doesn't play. My original ended with an apple adapter & worked both ways, but we wanted a USB end for more connectivity - the end going into the car interior matchs & fits well, however we couldn't get any sound to play via any media.
