This kit resolved the issue but it is a pain getting the old bearings out and the new bearings in. The tip on throwing the new bearings in the freezer over night is solid. Also pay close attention to what you pull out as this kit contains pieces for a few different configurations of Maytag washers. Whatever you do, don't buy cheap bearings. You do not want to do this job again anytime soon. Good luck!

Kit does not include plastic cup that is sometimes included to help install new style seals but I had no difficulty installing seals without it. I bought a 19piece chinese bearing puller/installer kit for about $42 which made removing and installing the bearings painless although the overall project was time consuming. Online youtube tutorials were helpful
