    Pop Up Dollhous Books

    This was first in the pop-up Victorian Doll House books by Maggie Bateson and Herman Lelie. These hardcover, ribbon tied, carousel style books open to reveal 8 rooms with pop up furnishings, stairways, and doors that open and close. Giving an imaginative peek into the styles and furnishings of the Victorian Era, they hearken back to a time when life was just a little grander. Sought after by both book collectors and doll house aficionados, these books were originally published for children. Surprisingly, there seem to be a number available at moderate prices that were obviously not played with. Though reasonably priced for the time being, they are sure to go up in value as they become harder to find.

    Victorian Dollhouse Popup Book

    victorian doll house

    the size of this book is perfect for little hands. The art work is great. The only thing that I would add is some "people" to play with!
