This was my second purchase from this seller. As with the first the product is nicely packaged. This suet comes with a lot of powder or dust in it which clogs up the bird feeders and the birds aren’t too keen on it sadly. I’m guessing it’s to do with the manufacture of it to keep it from sticking to itself but it’s just not helpful when in the feeders.

    The birds love it!

    We use it as loose feed on the ground and within a ground feeder cage (to prevent the Pigeons robbing it all) and we have a team of Blackbirds and Robins that devour this daily with Dunnock’s and Chaffinch’s mopping up the rest. I’ve tried various brands and the Dawn Chorus is as good or better than the rest and I will be ordering more.

    Not the birds favourite !

    My local birds(Mostly tree sparrows and blackbirds) just don't seem to be too fussed over this. Because it was cheap I mixed it with other brands that I have but they seemed a little averse to it. So I have had to reduce the ratio of this stuff that I mix with my other more expensive stuff. Therefore it shall last longer - I just hope it keeps freshish.

    Have tried many other brands but this is the one the birds love best! It is always eaten and nothing is left behind You wouldn't think that the birds could tell the difference between one brand or another, but they can!

    Nutritious Meal - Great Value & Strong Packaging - Birds Come Daily

    This product is simply GREAT and one-off for all my Welsh garden birds; extremely well packaged (strong, serious box + extra secure seal all around), super value regarding weight (12.5kg): is easily feeding little ones over many months. This particular sort of meal stands windy & rainy weather (survived couple of storms with no breakage, too.) Birds come every day, couple of times and I see how happy they are! Highly recommended brand!

    The birds love this food.

    i used to buy loads of seed from Sainsbury and the birds failed to eat most of it and I had to throw a way most. I bought some of these suet pellets the following year and now I can here the birds arguing with one another to get to my feeders first (especially guilty are the Starlings).
