Just need a saw for DIY at a reasonable price. Received in quick time and have used it on several occasions. Very pleased with my purchased as it works just as it supposed to. The instructions state that the blade is installed already but it is not and it does not make it clear on how to do this, so my advice would be to ensure that the blade is positioned between the two washers / collars before tightening.

A great saw for the keen amateur and professional woodworker
I have used Ryobi circular saws for 15 years and they have been consistently good quality tools. This model is no exception and gives good performance. The thin kerf blade helps cutting and it will happily make a cut through substantial timber. Naturally it is not as powerful as a corded model, but for sheer convenience this is difficult to beat. When tilted over the cut is still good, but naturally this places considerably more strain on the motor. I have used these in theatres and workshops and provided they are treated with care give fantastic results. It is best to use the high capacity batteries on this model in order to get the best from it, and change the battery before it is completely drained to get the best results. Brilliant little saw for experienced DIYers.
Light and so easy to set up and use (the hardest part was opening the b****y box). In operation within 10 minutes of delivery which was rapid at 2 working days. If you check the Ryobi web site you will be amazed at what they make for other brands including Milwaukee. No wonder these are true value for money.

The only problem is there is no dust bag. Now where can i get a dust bag? but ar part from that the circular saw is brilliant. verygood stuff nice and easy to use good stuff works good.

Pretty good for the price
Overall it's a good saw for the price. The laser guide is good. There are a few negative things though. The blade guard is plastic and is definitely going to break at some point. It's not very powerful like a corded saw, it has jammed up against the wood and stopped a few times, and the battery (2.5ah) doesn't last long. Other than those things it's pretty good. Overall I'm happy with it. It's nice and light and being cordless is a huge advantage. It's great for small jobs but if you have a lot of cuts to do and have access to electricity outlets, I'd go with a corded saw.
