About this product

Product Information

Destined to become a cult classic, John Roecker's decidedly offbeat stop-motion science fiction comedy/musical takes place in 3039, when the Earth is barren and devastated, and the few survivors await salvation with the return of the Messiah--Charles Manson. The voices are supplied by alt-rock performers, including Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go's, and Good Charlotte's Benji and Joel Madden, among many others; Armstrong and Wiedlin both perform memorable original songs.

  • Take this movie as something fun to watch, because it is if you're not boring.

This project is a joke of sorts and it's hilarious. You can tell they had fun making it. It seems like there is always some nimrod who gives punk rock art a bad review like they're expecting The Shawshank Redemption, the one article they wrote this year that wasn't ironic. How boring can people be? This movie will offend you in the bes way; I'm here to tell all y'all, if you like Toxic Avenger AND Gumby, this your movie. I saw it in LA and Mike Dirnt, Jane Weidlin, and John Roecker were all there to watch and host a Q & A afterwards. It's dope and funny.
