I already have replaced the RAM chips. I was hoping that there'd be a socket thrown in, the person I bought the two RAM chips included two sockets for them. I replaced them first because they were getting hot. Replaced them to find out that this chip and maybe a few others are getting hot or warmer. I have a black screen, but it's not totally dead. TV gets signal when switched on. Thanks.

Packing was more than sufficient - this wasn't a problem with the seller. Product was better than described. Hardly a blemish on it (both shells). Hard to believe this machine is over 40 years old. I will buy more from this seller. Great price also.
