Great quality, extremely simple to use and cost is very reasonable for the amount of use and length of time you'll have this tool.
I've been in the HVAC industry 25 years and tbh most of the time I can tell without a tester if the module is bad. Motors are fairy easy as well with an ohm meter. AS far as tools go Tecmate is an awesome tester and can help you to easily confirm your thoughts. This tester is simple to use, in fact they don't get any easier to use. You plug it in and flip a switch. Go or no go. Build quality has always been good on all the TECmates I've owned. When you are plugging the 16 pin or the 4 pin plugs in dont push and for sure dont pull on the wires. Grab the plastic section of the connector and the thing will last a very long time. If you pull on the wires when you unplug it, it will soon get a loose wire. If you're newer in the industry, get one. Never go cheap on your tools. If you're testing ... You need this to test ECV fan motor
Only way to really test your ECV fan motor. Saves tons of heart ache and time to know if you problem is the fan motor or something else.
