Great heater, however cable and plug got hot. Checked, 0.75mm flex fitted, max current 6 amps, heater takes 8 amps hence cable heated up. I have changed the cable to correct this, as I needed the heater. Sellers service good, and the rest of the heater is ok, but shouldn't really be sold like it is.

Price-beater heater!
This product is safe strong and built to a vey high quality - sooooo much better than the flimsy plastic heaters on the market - the heating elements are totally sheathed, so cannot give a shock or make contact with any conductive objects - a vital safety consideration in a workshop - a excellent item I would thoroughly recommend.

Good Product Let down by its cheap internal wiring
Good looking industrial storage heater that once warmed up quickly warms a area. I use one for my garage. Although it looks strong and sturdy its life expectancy under normal usage is about 2 years before failure. What fails on these units is not the element or thermostat but the poor quality wiring used to connect the various components. if you are fairly competent then rewiring should be easy for you but if not then you will need to buy another. Both mine started blowing cold air and had almost identical wiring failures. Overall looks good, generates a lot of heat once up to full speed but is let down by cheap components.Good looking industrial storage heater that once warmed up quickly warms a area. I have tried a good number of this type of heater for a large shed. This would be ideal for a 10' shed or less. They nearly all work in the same way, big fan, one or two heat settings plus cold blower and cooker element in front; one was even a 2.5kw and they all cost very much more than the £25 this was. Only this one gives out a good heat, the others gave out less than a hairdryer. The yardstick for me was how long I could put my hand in front. It is not as stylish as some and does not have adjustable angle as if that is important. So on cost alone it is a winner but all so functionality in terms of heat makes it a winner too. Crap! This is not an industrial heater. This would take a months of Sunday's to heat a garage as it don't heat a well insulated room for ages. Then when the heating element turns of and cools the fan blows the cold air round the room.
