      Good product

      Good products I used it on some wooden coasters that I had burnt design using pyography. The design also had some painted acrylic paint areas. I applied the product with a lint free cloth. It dries quickly so you need to work quickly. I didn't need to use too much for each coat. I did two coats and then gently buffed it with a lint free cloth which left a nice sheen on it. I will certainly use it on other pyography wood projects.

      First time user

      First time I have tried as a finish for pens I have turned. I have found it to be extremely easy to apply and the finish is the best I have come across to date. Durability only time will tell but I would suspect it will be as good as you will get of any finish out their.

      It's too early to get a second opinion.

      I bought Melamine to restore a coffee table I made around 2005 because the finish has become pretty worn with use and unsightly . I think it is quite expensive and I have still to buy the solvent needed for cleaning brushes. My express hope is that I can find more applications for it so that it is not wasted. I do some wood turning now so it may be used on these items. Initially I had thought of using a shellac finish but concluded that your one would be better because it's more immune to marking with liquids.
