    Almost does what it says on the on the TIN [so to speak]

    PRO'S---Decent steel quality and finish. Good fasteners to assemble the unit. Good roller wheels rear and front. Over all. A moderate product and moderately priced. CONS--- The swivel wheels had to be shimmed to make the wheels level when raised for moving. In my case front wheels had a 5+ mm shim to each wheel mounting plate to make them level to the floor so as to make the wheels swivel.. Now that is done. It functions quite well .

    Not a bad bit of kit

    Value for the money I would recommend this product adjustable to various size’s as advertised My only possible problem might be with the aluminium foot lever to raise and lower the frame off the wheels onto the stoppers Might never be a problem but I used a couple of washers either side to spread the pinch point

    Needs steel lifting levers

    A well made & sturdy steel framework, that’s adjustable & easy to fix together. The issue is with the plastic levers. They’re just not up to the job. Steel levers need to be fitted to this item live up to its promise.

    bad product, bad design, waste of money

    t doesn't do what it is suppose to, the wheels which lever down to move the machine are at an angle and don't sit straight when in the move position. This stops them from swivelling when trying to manoeuver it round the workshop. It is useless.

    This base does what it says in the advertisement.

    This mobile base is ideal for my needs, enabling me to move my mortiser around my workshop when needed. It is a robust aid which required self assembly following clear instructions. It can be altered for other uses if necessary. I recommend it highly especially for sole workers. I would buy another one if I buy another heavy machine.
