Great for cooking and in coffee, OK in tea...very versatile
The steel tin is robust. The inner seal of the tin is a strong airtight aluminium foil peelback lid - very good for long term storage. Once opened the supplied plastic lid forms a pretty decent seal. The lifespan of the unopened tin is eighteen months (packaged-to-BestBefore date is a two years), but my tin had been packaged six months before I got it, so that gives me an eighteen month shelf life before full usage. However, my experience with dried milk suggests to me that it would easily last longer if stored in a cool place and kept unopened. The milk powder itself looks very appetising, this is important to the whole experience. It is very easy to dissolve in water and makes up into actual 'milk' quickly. This type of milk powder works perfectly in cooking - I use it for bread-making. ... The steel tin is robust. In coffee it works fine for me, so no complaint there. However, I would not use it a replacement for real milk to drink by the glass - but again, it is all a matter of taste...
