- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseFast shipping, product is very disappointing. This tension gauge is inaccurate, it doesn't read the same 2x in a row. We own 2 sawmills and bought two of these. Biggest problem is they are made of plastic. I didn't see that as an issue but the housing is 3 pieces layered together. Too much play in the pivot pins and cannot tighten the thumb screws tight enough so the gauge won't slip on the blade without delamination of the plastic housing.Reply from: multicolorman- Feedback replied to by seller multicolorman.- Feedback replied to by seller multicolorman. The housing is definitely one piece and not 3 pieces laminated together. Well two pieces, the clamp body and the clamp arm....Clamp stationary clamp side to blade and then, adding a slight tension on the indicator spring {push in on top of pivot arm just a hair} while tightening the pivot arm side thumb screw , and then Zero it out. This removes the pin play you mentioned...It does not need to be clamped tight to the blade like you'd think.

- *****- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI have used this tension gauge a couple of times. It seems to be well made, and works well for me. It definitely seems to be a great value for the shop that doesn't want to spend several times more for a recognized name.
- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseItem as advertised. Super-fast shipping. Looks to be a very quality product. Have not tried it yet but it sure looks like will it do the job. THANKS!
