Terms and Conditions for Repair and Servicing on eBay

1. Free Estimate / Quotation

We offer a free estimate online based on the information provided. Please note that this is an estimation only. The actual repair cost may vary, and you will be contacted for authorization if there s a significant change.

2. No Fix No Fee Policy / Service Charge

A. All items received for diagnostic or repair carry a service charge, defined below, to cover the engineer’s time or any parts used in the attempt to diagnose or repair the items.

B. Service Charge:

£15 – Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Tablet/iPad, MP3 Player/iPod

£20 – Gaming Console/Controller, PCB Board, TV/Monitor, Not Listed Items

£30 – Laptop/Desktop PC, Audio HiFi Equipment

C. If no fault is found, we will return the Equipment to you, and a service charge of £7 plus shipping applies.

3. Turnaround Time

Initial Diagnosis: We aim to initiate the standard diagnostic process within 3-5 working days.

Parts Availability: Timely completion of repairs depends on part availability, generally within 5-10 working days.

Busy Periods: Delays may occur during high-volume periods.

4. Return Postage

Return postage applies to each item sent for repair or diagnostics. Return shipping cost is £7.90, with a Heavy Weight Surcharge of £7.00 for parcels exceeding 5kg or dimensions of 61cm x 46cm x 46cm.

5. Parts Used / Waterproofing

We use original or high-quality OEM parts. Waterproofing after repair is not guaranteed.

6. Installation of Consumer Supplied Parts

Installation of consumer-supplied parts is offered without a guarantee or liability for fit and functionality.

7. Unpaid Invoices

Equipment may be held until all charges are paid. Unpaid invoices for 30 days will result in recycling of the equipment.

8. Diagnostics / Partial Repairs

Diagnostics and partial repairs are quoted and charged separately. These charges are non-refundable.

9. Liquid Damage Repairs

Liquid damage repairs are done on a best endeavours basis, and outcomes may vary.

10. Accessories, Games, Power Supplies

Please refrain from sending unnecessary accessories. We are not responsible for loss or damage to accessories.

11. User Data and Information

We strive to retain data but are not responsible for lost data. Customers are advised to back up data before sending items.

12. Payments

Payment is requested after repair completion or if the item is deemed B.E.R. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Visa Debit.

13. Cancellation

Under Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your repair contract. Fees apply depending on the stage of the repair process.

14. Repair Warranty

Repairs carry a limited 3-month warranty for replaced parts and labor, except for specific exclusions. Warranty details and return process provided upon request.

15. Warranty Limitations

Warranty limitations apply to certain conditions, and voided warranties are outlined based on specific actions and damages.

16. Limitation of Liability

Customers agree not to hold us responsible for data loss or device damage during the repair process.

17. Complaints

Complaints will be acknowledged within five working days. Customers will be kept informed throughout the resolution process.
