BABY NEWTON uses video and music to teach children from one year and up about shapes, the recognition of which are essential to a child's ability to see patterns and develop critical cognitive functions. BABY SHAKESPEARE teaches babies the basic sounds and rhythms of classical poetry and nature. Twelve common words are reinforced through the video and the accompanying BABY SHAKESPEARE book. Bard, the linguistic dragon host of this video, introduces poems, using puppet shows and classical music. LANGUAGE NURSERY helps babies understand the concept behind foreign languages, using animated visuals and pleasant sounds to stimulate infants between the ages of approximately one and 18 months.     Really liked the poetry DVD the best. My grandson is 13 months and so I think some of the other tapes are too simple for him to be very interested.
