    A movie to look out for.

    A great movie filled with all the expected revelations and some surprises too. While the original gave some good chilling ending, this one gives some great two-man reasons to stick around too.

    The THING DVD Review

    I saw the original thing movie many years ago and it was very scary to watch it then, but this remake of the thing is even scarier than the first. The creature was something nightmares are made from, and I'm glad it isn't a real monster. I recommend this remake of the THING to monster lovers, especially if you liked the original THING movie. The price wasn't too bad either.

    A favorite Sci-Fi film. Explains a lot of the odd things in the John Carpenter version. The special effects are really superb especially the stunts with the prosthetic monsters and the stunts with fire and flamethrowers. Very yucky looking scary monsters and interesting interiors of the alien spacecraft. The scene when the alien bursts out of the block of ice is truly jarring and memorable.
