Comments on the illustrations
The only thing that I had a problem with is that the illustrations were not titled as to what year they applied to. Like if was an early series 2, it was equipped with 3 SU carbs as shown but no illustration was evident for later series 2s which had only 2 Strombergs and were completely different. Also it would have been more cohesive if the illustrations accompanied the various text rather than being grouped at the end of the book.The only thing that I had a problem with is that the illustrations were not titled as to what year they applied to. This XKE Series 2 parts manual is of limited use. It's just a list of XKE Jaguar Series 2 parts but there is no reference or links to any illustrations. All of the illustrations are from Series 1 cars and there are no illustrations of Series 2 cars. There is no key or way to look up a part from the illustrations. So it's impossible to look up a Series 2 part from any illustrations and find out the correct part number.This XKE Series 2 parts manual is of limited use.
