    Ring Video Door Bell works perfectly and easy to install. Highly recommend

    Ring Video Door Bell is perfect for our needs. The Ring Video Door Bell arrived exactly as described. The item came with great easy to follow instructions. Once installed the Video Door Bell worked perfectly. The App was easy to install on all the family members phones. The videos from the door bell come in with great clear quality even at night. We did not enroll in the Ring video service and are just using our home wifi and phones. If you are looking for a video door bell I highly recommend the Ring.

    Get a RING 2 not a 2nd gen.

    This is a great product and does everything you want it to do. Can be used wireless or hardwired to your existing door bell. HOWEVER, you should know to charge the battery you have to remove in from the house. The recharging micro USB is on the back of the unit. So, if you have it hardwired to your existing doorbell charging will be a hassle.

    So nice to see who is at my front door....at last....clearly and in color

    The Ring camera, combined with my original doorbell is excellent. Easy to install, with just a few tools, but please read all the materials first, and go online for a few tips to speed up the installation, and save yourself a lot of cussing.

    Appears to work okay, but with some issues.

    My only qualm is that I also purchased a solar charger for the Ring, but the charger does not seem to charge the battery. The device health displays that the Ring is not connected to a solar charger. I don't know if this is an issue with the Ring or the solar charger. I am working with the solar charging company to attempt to resolve it.

    Good product, but ...

    Installation instructions were good and easy to follow. Had difficulty connecting to the home wi-fi and so upgraded the router to a better one and this seemed to fix the problem. After a few days of use the battery stopped charging even though it was hardwired to the home door bell. After talking to the RIng support and resetting the unit, it seemed to fix the problem. A couple of weeks of use, it reported that the wi-fi signal was weak and soon after the battery level started dropping. Then a few days later, everything was OK and the battery was up to 100%. Hopefully nothing else will go wrong.
