no cons to fitting this filter it fits perfectly and works better than the OE filter, you get the sticker too so you can tell the world i'm saving money ,saving fuel and saving time by not having too replace my air filter again , even the warranty is longer than the car came with.

I only bought it because my friend kept pushing me to get one as it would increase power/performance/economy. Nope, did nothing. Actually it fell off on one occasion so i drove a few miles with no filter inside the housing. It fits but not as good as the OEM one. Overall? I wouldn't bother with K&N's unless you have a HIGH performance car and it's remapped. The only plus is that it's reusable and i will start to saving money on the long run which is 5 years from now.
