    Tom Dokken's Retriever Training

    I really liked the easy to follow instructions and accompanying pictures, lots of pictures and the more pictures the better. I hope to have a retriever one day and want to know as much as possible about what it takes to turn out a great one. Mr. Dokken's book I believe could be used to accomplish that goal. My one concern was that he felt it necessary to use an E-collar.

    Good Overview and summary of expectations

    I bought it when I got.my puppy. Third lab I have owned. I have always been fair at training but this book filled in my gaps. Very helpful.

    Tom Dokken's Retriever Training by Tom Dokken

    I have read dozens of dog training and in the first page you read about a training idea for puppy's that I have never seen, it is easy and such a great idea. This is an easy read with lots of pictures showing just what he is talking about.

    Excellent training tool

    This is an excellent book, it is easy to understand and the illustrations help alot. I bought this book because it was at a great price and would highly recommend it to anyone who is starting off on bird dog training.
