    A fine Prog Rock Album

    Limited Edition with Bonus Track Jadis are an excellent guitar based prog rock band. Unfortunately their first album was such a Prog Rock 'classic' it takes some lving up to, but this is a good one. Gary Chandler (Lead guitar/vox) is Jadis to a large extent. His vocals are very powerful and guitar playing extraordinary. However Keys, Bass and Drums are also superb. The music is guitar based prog (with keyboards) and very original. I hate to compare them to anyone else, because they are very original. There are touches of 'Rush' and occasionally touches of early-Genesis - but they are not clones. The melodies can be complex and the instrumental sections superb. At times they are pretty heavy. If you are looking for some instant catchy-pop tunes this is the wrong band for you. If you are ...
