Seller notes: “The book with red cloth boards, with gold engine and title, is in near fine condition, very ... “The book with red cloth boards, with gold engine and title, is in near fine condition, very slightly toned, or grubby at the top and is very clean internally without tears or marks. The only mark is a light pencil gifting to "My dear children September 1958", the month after publication, on the front fly, easily removed. There is only the slightest age toning to page edges, barely noticeable with binding still tight. Endpapers are off-white.The original sky blue pictorial dust jacket is complete and in a protective cover. It is unclipped with original pricing of 5 shillings. It has edge chips and a 20mm tear to the front and shelf wear, but is internally bright. See photos.”
