    Modern day Sherlock Holmes

    I don't think I have to talk anyone into watching BBC's new version of Sherlock Holmes. It has already had a huge following, not only in the UK, but also around the world, especially in the US. I was hooked after the first episode. I think my biggest problem with the series is, it is so long between the new "season". There are only three episodes a season/series, but you have to take into account that each one could stand alone as a full length feature film.

    Not nearly as good as the first two series.

    I know this is fiction. And I know that some liberties have been taken with Sir Conan Doyle's books, in order to make it relevent. But some of the events in this series are just too far fetched and unbelievable to many die hard Holmes fans. The first two series were excellent, in my opinion. This one, not so much. . But this is not as bad as the 4th, trust me.

    Second Best series on BBC

    This series is awesome!! I had the first 2 seasons, but had to wait until the "Region 1" became available for Season 3. Finally! Also bought 1 as a gift, and he loved it too! After we finished watching the last episode, we both complained of suffering from "Sherlock withdrawal" for several days. Like "Vera", he's definitely addictive.
