    Good usual quality from Belkin.

Having had three different modem routers by Belkin over the years, I've always trusted the quality of the brand. And this one is no different. Easy to set up, even easier to use. O/K, it's not going to compete with the more expensive ones but for simple surfing, email and everyday use, I don't think the range can be beaten in it's class.

  • Most critical review

    Works sometimes

I bought this as I was having problems connecting my phone to the wifi from everywhere in my flat (I know). To be fair the 5GHz option allowed me to connect my phone from anywhere. However, the router seems to have some bugs in that sometimes when you send a request (for a new webpage or something) it just sits there and either doesn't try or just doesn't re-try if it doesn't happen straight away. Had to reset a number of time to get it working and sometimes with no luck. I've messed about with all the settings and nothing prevents these bugs as far as I can tell, so I've reverted back to my old router. Value for money in that I paid £6 for it delivered, so was worth a try - might work better as a repeater....

  • I would buy again, good product for the money

It's a great router with good wireless coverage that has been fine so far after three months. It lacks the ability to set specific IP addresses for individual machines on the network, so it has to choose one for you which can sometimes cause a clash with another PC on the system already. The USB port is useful if you want to create a network share, though you cannot address it from outside the network which is an opportunity missed. Generally it lacks a lot of options to play with and wants to reboot after almost any setting is changed, which again causes frustration if you don't really want to reboot the whole network. I give it four stars overall because of these niggles which are not explained on the makers website.

  • Good value budget router/ modem

Really good value router/ modem. performs well for what I need. A bit of a faff to set up initially, but got there after doing some research for the correct settings
