Very ordinary 50s collection
As I recall, Joe Meek was merely recording engineer on these recordings made mostly for Pye. There is not the slightest trace of any of his later inspiring work from when he had his own studio. This is a mildly interesting collection but there are a considerable number of far better ones. This one is for the keenest Joe Meek completists only.
