Lot more complicated than my old phone which I updated because it run out of memory and would not update. I don't need, nor have the desire to use all of the features of the S9 but if needed they are there in abundance. Because I have owned the phone for only 2 or 3 weeks I cannot comment on the battery. life I can say however the phone was as described 'pristine'.
