Product Information

One of two NES games based on the 1989 film, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade has good music, decent graphics, nice cut-scenes and a branching storyline that closely follows the movie. The only thing missing is actual gameplay. Although you get to ride on a motorcycle, solve puzzles, explore castles and beat up thugs, each of these concepts is poorly handled. Indy moves at a snail's pace in the platforming levels, and fighting is much more difficult than it should be. The overall quality of the presentation is notable, but there's no real substance to back it up. <!--Book-->

    Blast from the Harrison Ford *pixel past!

    Fun old school title from TAITO, the gameplay may be repetitive, but that comes with simplistic NES button combos. Action platformer in many ways like many arcade games past, even a Donkey Kong similarity to it. Multiple challenging levels, all demoed from the main menu if you want to watch them through. Entertaining to the last penny.
