    7K1000.D an excellent, reliable, high performing drive, Highly Recommeded!!

    I installed this hard drive into my asgard case, found it to be fast and responsive along with an AMD Phenom 965 processor. Although it’s not an SSD, it’s still quite fast. I had to pick between a western digital or a Hitachi, am glad I picked this. There are some excellent features packed into the drive like the idle 18% power saving feature, advanced format and fast seek time. If you visit the Hitachi website you’ll find that there’s lots of software available to download such as the ‘drive fitness test’ which checks the drive for errors and improves performance if necessary and also erases data if needed. It uses the latest SATA 3 interface which means you will need a motherboard and cable that are both SATA 3 certified to achieve full performance. I've heard news of Hitachi and ...

    First class, value for money, hard drive.

    I bought this item because I was building a new computer & I needed a new HDD. It was by far the cheapest unit available on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter at the higher end specification. It works perfectly with no problem or compromise.
