    Great Value Well Built Scanner

    Another fantastic scanner from the long term masters of the art, Fujitsu. It's just as good as its predecessors, and does exactly what it says on the tin, often available for under £200 on eBay. What a bargain. My last scanner lasted over 10 years of regular use, and would have lasted longer if I'd done the regular maintenance that I should have done.

    Brilliant machine but software a bit iffy

    The machine was easy to set up but I had difficulty loading the software. This might have been my PC but it was a headache. After a couple of attempts I got it all loaded but periodically it throws up errors. I think it is sensitive to the scanner being switched on before the PC or vice-versa and sometimes they refuse to communicate until I switch off and on and even re-boot. Like I say, it might be the way my PC is set up but I have no other problems like this. When it is running OK repeat scans are a bit laborious compared to my previous scanner (Cannon), too many options. Having said all that, a very fast machine with excellent resolution.
